EVOLUTION
The HIHT University
was established under the aegis of the Himalayan
Institute Hospital Trust, which is the sponsoring society of
the University. Shri Swami Rama, the founder of HIHT, acquired the
land for his dream project in the foothills of the Himalayas (in
Dehradun district) in 1989 after returning from the United States.
